If our God is unchanging and has predestined the outcome of our lives, can prayer change His plans? Do our prayers really matter to Him? The answer is yes. Our petitions to God matter!
It’s true that the Lord knows everything from beginning to end. But He has also given us free will in our lives to make our own choices and decisions. He does make it possible for us to adjust the outcome of one’s eternity through the grace and prayer that He gives us. Otherwise our free will and purpose would be meaningless and we would only exist for God’s pleasure. It’s called the power of Prayer. Then he said, “May the Lord not be angry, but let me speak just once more. What if only ten can be found there?” – Genesis 18:31.
Do your prayers matter to God? You’re life is precious to Him. He loves you and wants the best for you. So when you make mistakes and go down the wrong road – He is waiting for you – to get you back on the right track!
